Wearing: Free People Top | Old Navy Coat | Garage Denim | Old Navy Loafers | Thrifted Necklace
Spring descended from the heavens and gave New York a taste of what could be last week. I felt happier than I have in months, just from a little bit of sunshine. It felt liberating wearing lighter layers and hanging up my depressing black winter hues.
I swapped out my regular black peacoat and boot combo for my new pastel purchases at Old Navy. I found this amazing Sully-esque fuzzy coat in their winter clearance section, along with these adorable tassel loafers. This coat is so ugly that I love it, you know? My goal is to leave a passer-by questioning whether they really like what I'm wearing or absolutely hate it.
I have also discovered the wonderfulness that is Free People. Everything they make is so graceful and delicate. I would buy it all if I could (unfortunately my bank account and my mother wouldn't allow that). Since I can't buy their whole collection, every now and then I will splurge and buy a skirt or top from them. The "treat yo self" method actually gives the clothing more value, just how rarity makes something special. I suggest treating yourself to something that will make you feel special and beautiful this Spring sesaon! Go out and get some sun lovelies Xx
